You’ll drive about 6kms under a stunning canopy of trees and wonder what kind of magical area you’re heading to. With smaller acreages and some leasehold homes situated along the Cheakamus River is a very unique place. There are many access points to some remote hiking and biking destinations such as Butterfly, Leavitt and Starvation Lakes. For the fishing enthusiast or white water paddler the Cheakamus River has much to offer. Various pools and eddies are incredibly enjoyable places to spend an early morning or late afternoon while enjoying the lush green rainforest that surrounds. Gentle class two+ rapids are fun for the new paddler or the experienced who just wish to enjoy time on the river. Cast your gaze to the east you’ll notice Mt Fee, exquisitely holding sentinel over the valley.
